Black Rabbit Projects
A program for artists ready to build on their own terms.
Applications are now being considered for the inaugural cohort.
An art career rarely looks the way you expect it to. Success can be unconventional, unexpected, even atypical. That is not a flaw. Some of the most meaningful creative careers are built on paths no one mapped out in advance.
Black Rabbit Projects exists to help artists navigate their own version of that journey.
Created by Benny Bing, the program draws from firsthand experience across exhibitions, public art, licensing, corporate partnerships, entrepreneurship, and community building — the full spectrum of what a sustainable creative career can actually look like. Sessions take place at Black Rabbit's gallery in Regent Park.
This is not a course. It is a working environment for artists ready to move from intention to execution.
"The goal is not to create copies of one path, but to help artists discover and build their own."

Each month centers on a topic shaping a creative practice, explored together as a group, then applied one-on-one to your own work. The program closes with a group show for the full cohort at Black Rabbit.
